In front of children: zero bad words

How do you eradicate swear words in children ? The first thing is to stop using them , because they repeat what they hear, not what you tell them to do.
There are mothers who complain : "I don't know why this child says so many bad words , he must be hearing them somewhere."
Okay, they'll hear them at school when they're older, but if a little one says them, it's because their parents do the same thing at home. And that's not good, because everyone will be embarrassed.
If a young child swears in the middle of a party or gathering , he or she will alienate others. Mothers don't want a "sweary" person as their child's friend, because he or she will learn the wrong rules and good manners.
It's obvious that a child doesn't know how to measure how, when, or to whom to say them. Therefore, the whole family will be embarrassed more than once, and so will the child. And also rejected . You also won't like your child hanging out with someone who swears everywhere.
So try not to say them at home. I was never allowed to, but it's true that I did when I grew up. I've gradually stopped saying them as I've gotten older.
I used to swear a lot, but after my mom died . When she was alive, if we did anything like that, she'd slap us in the face. I don't think this is healthy either.
You can give a child time out , tell them those things aren't done, explain why. And also inform them that there are countries where people swear a lot, and it's normal.
In Spain, for example, they're commonplace , even on television. I don't have a problem with that, but there are many people who do.
Therefore, educate your child, make him see that bad words are rude and many people do not like them .
There are others who do, but you don't have to bother them or tell them to shut up. There are so many positive things to teach a child!
Avoid associating him with issues that, instead of helping him in his future relationships , will create problems for him.
In short, no bad words , especially in front of children .
