Man found carrying 19 cocaine capsules hidden in his wig

A 40-year-old man has been arrested at a Colombian airport after being caught wearing a 'narco wig' in which he was carrying cocaine, according to information published by La Verdad .

The man was carrying a total of 19 capsules of this substance hidden in a wig he was wearing. The officers in charge of monitoring the passengers noticed a suspicious attitude in him that set off alarm bells. They searched him and made him go through a scanner, where they discovered the surprise he was hiding in the wig.

It was then that agents from the Anti-Narcotics Police Unit of the Colombian National Police arrested this man, who was planning to fly to Amsterdam at the Rafael Núñez International Airport in Cartagena.

In a video shared by the Colombian National Police on the social network X (formerly Twitter), it is shown how the agents remove the false hair from the detainee's head and find the 19 small packages that contained, in total, more than 220 grams of cocaine.

The detainee, who had a history of drug trafficking, was placed at the disposal of the Attorney General of Colombia for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotic substances.
