National Theater inaugurates its 2025 Cultural Training Program

The Eduardo Brito National Theater (TNEB) and the Friends of the National Theater Foundation (FATN) formally launched the 2025 Cultural Training Program . This year, it has special significance as it is dedicated to the memory of the beloved Doña Amadita Pittaluga de González, a key figure and collaborator since the FATN's inception.
Lisette Troncoso , TNEB's Public Relations Officer and FATN collaborator, warmly welcomed everyone present, including members of the foundation, program participants, special guests, and especially Dr. Octavio González Nivar, his daughters, his grandchildren, and their respective partners, who received the affection and recognition of those present.
David Camejo , head of Protocol at the TNEB, offered heartfelt remarks on behalf of the National Theatre , followed by Maritza Zeller de Bonetti, who echoed the sentiments of the Friends of the National Theatre Foundation .

- Doña Amadita 's career, tireless work, vision, and deep commitment were highlighted, values that earned her countless awards throughout her life.
In a particularly emotional moment, Dr. Patricia González Pittaluga, President of the Family Council of the González Pittaluga Group, offered her words of gratitude for the recognition of Doña Amadita 's invaluable support and legacy.
Artistic disciplinesThis year's program will offer a 12-week Cultural Appreciation Workshop , both in-person and online, covering various artistic disciplines:
· Theater Appreciation with Amarilis Rodríguez (Monday)
Literary Appreciation with Sandra Alvarado (Tuesday)
· Voice Appreciation with Sibelle Márquez-Pagán (Wednesday)
· Dance Appreciation with Jochi Muñoz (Thursdays)
· Music Appreciation with Lillian Brugal (Friday)

Later, in mid-August, a series of in-person talks will be held with prominent professionals such as Richardson Díaz, Edis Sánchez, Guarionex Aquino, and Junior Basurto Lomba, in addition to the participation of the National Lyric Company, the National Theater Company, and other special guests.
- The culmination of the 2025 Cultural Training Program will be celebrated at the end of October with the traditional Certificate Ceremony .
The opening night concluded with a musical presentation by Gregorio De Jesús Méndez , saxophonist with the National Symphony Orchestra , who performed a medley of merengue and bachata.
The National Theatre and the Friends of the National Theatre Foundation invite all interested parties to participate in this enriching cultural program.
