2025 Elections in Argentina, LIVE: The government is considering not presenting candidates in some provinces and is considering alliances.

Following the results of the first electoral test of the year in Santa Fe, the government is considering whether or not to present candidates in the upcoming midterm elections in some provinces, while simultaneously seeking to accelerate negotiations with some allies.
The issue has sparked a discussion within the Executive Branch between those who maintain the position of not competing in districts with low voting intentions, and those who want to have their own Libertarian slate in every territory.
Among the former are those who are hesitant to present candidates for governor in Corrientes and Santiago del Estero, which are being elected this year. A similar situation is occurring with the legislative elections in San Luis, where La Libertad Avanza failed to establish itself as a party.
The ruling party is also seeking to forge agreements with allied governors in provinces where it doesn't have a candidate. An example of this strategy is Chaco, where La Libertad Avanza is going to the polls alongside Governor Leandro Zdero's supporters, and the same could happen in Entre Ríos with Rogelio Frigerio's party.
