Another gesture from Patricia Bullrich to Mauricio Macri ahead of the elections: she spoke of reestablishing dialogue.

National Security Minister Patricia Bullrich added a new gesture of rapprochement between the government and Mauricio Macri this Sunday, speaking of a "maturity on both sides." Furthermore, regarding dialogue with the former president, she stated that "it's a matter of reestablishing it."
Bullrich's words followed other nods from the ruling party: just over a week ago, Milei said the doors to dialogue were not closed, that "there are bridges" between the two, and highlighted the gesture of support for the Budget Law as "very positive." On Thursday, meanwhile, Chief of Staff Guillermo Francos shared photos of the anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in which he was seen with the former president.
"The agreement is in place. We're working together in a significant number of provinces. Here in Buenos Aires, we're working together, even though we separated in May. That is to say, there's been a growing understanding on both sides," the minister said in an interview with LN+, after being asked about a possible agreement between the ruling party and the PRO that would include the former president and other leaders of the yellow party to work together.
He later asked himself, "What's the point of competing when you can go together?"
"If this dialogue [with Macri] is lacking, it will be a matter of reestablishing it," he affirmed, while indicating that, in the event of a debate, the ruling party is "on the same campaign committee as the PRO representatives who are in the Federal Capital."
"We come from there, so we feel part of it; we have the same way of thinking, we have the same vision. Furthermore, we are certain that there are two paths. Either we advance in the capitalist project of freedom, of institutions that are strong enough to sustain economic and social change like the one being carried out, or we regress to the worst, to what Kicillof is describing when he describes the economy," Bullrich concluded.
Bullrich's gesture followed other approaches made by both sides. Earlier this month, the minister had already suggested during another interview that Macri should join the Buenos Aires campaign . " I think it would be good to talk to him now . Yesterday we had a meeting with the campaign in the city, and I think if an alliance has been formed, it's good to see it, to discuss it, and to show it. It's a good path," she had stated at the time.
Then, mid-month, during the 2026 budget vote, the PRO party shared a brief message on social media supporting the 2026 Budget proposal that Javier Milei had submitted to Congress.
"From the beginning , we have supported fiscal balance as the basis for change . The fact that Congress is discussing the budget after two years is a sign of institutional maturity: putting the books in order and setting priorities, with clear rules. That is the direction Argentina needs," the brief statement read.

After that message, Milei spoke, acknowledging that they hadn't spoken with the former president, but clarified: " The doors to dialogue aren't closed either ." On that occasion, Milei had also maintained that "there are bridges" between the two and emphasized that the founder of the PRO party "had a very positive gesture toward the Budget."
"Sometimes relations cool, sometimes they deepen. The challenges facing Argentina require that all of us who oppose the State Party and Kirchnerism and all its sinister partners who want to appear moderate but vote with Kirchnerism, when push comes to shove, all stand together," Milei added on that occasion.
Finally, last Thursday, during the reception organized by the new Saudi ambassador to Argentina for the national day of the oil power, Chief of Staff Guillermo Francos appeared alongside Mauricio Macri and shared the moment of his meeting with the former president on his social media.
