Axel Kicillof, Sergio Massa, and Máximo Kirchner met in La Plata to finalize a single list against Javier Milei.

Axel Kicillof, Máximo Kirchner , and Sergio Massa held a key meeting this Sunday in La Plata to outline a common strategy for the province of Buenos Aires . Ten mayors also participated in the meeting, and they will continue political negotiations to consolidate the coalition. The main agreement was to move toward a unified list to confront the adjustments and the chainsaws of Javier Milei's government , in addition to defending Cristina Kirchner's innocence .
For four hours, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the leaders analyzed the current political landscape. While no candidates were defined, they agreed that the lists would be headed by the most competitive candidates from each electoral section.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the three governing parties in the province: Kirchnerism , the Renewal Front , and the pro- Kicillof movement, the Right to the Future Movement . Mayors Mayra Mendoza (Quilmes) and Mariel Fernández (Moreno) were also present, along with Federico Otermín (Lomas de Zamora).
Representing the Renovador Front were San Fernando Mayor Juan Andreotti , Representative Alexis Guerrera , and political scientist Sebastián Galmarini . Representing the governor's party were Minister Carlos Bianco and several municipal leaders: Mario Secco , Julio Alak , Fernando Espinoza , Alberto Descalzo , and Andrés Watson .
The meeting concluded with the decision to hold another meeting this Tuesday. There, they will seek to consolidate a common position in preparation for the finalization of alliances , scheduled for July 9. They will also try to finalize the candidacies before July 19 , the deadline for submitting lists.
The message they sought to convey was clear: the province of Buenos Aires will not allow Milei's chainsaw to advance , and the chosen path will be unity. This unity not only seeks to confront the austerity and debt policies of Javier Milei's libertarian government , but also to protect the province of Buenos Aires in a context of growing national tension.
Beyond internal differences, the leaders agreed that it is time to close ranks and prioritize a common plan to preserve territorial power. With Cristina Kirchner at the center of attention, and a strategy to protect her legacy, the meeting outlined a common goal: to build a solid political front that can halt the libertarian advance in the country's main district.
