Catalonia will promote its culture, language, and gastronomy in Osaka.

Catalonia will be at the World Expo next week, held in Osaka, Japan, from April 13th to October 13th. The Spanish pavilion at the Japanese fairgrounds opens the door to organizing weeks for the different autonomous communities, and the Catalan side will be from May 27th to June 1st.

Catalan Week, with the motto "Catalonia, land of innovation and avant-garde," seeks to present the region as "a country with solid roots and a transformative vocation." Gastronomy, culture, architecture, the Catalan language, tourism, and technological innovation will be prominent. The Minister of European Union and Foreign Affairs, Jaume Duch, stated that the aim is to "strengthen" the bridges between Catalonia and Japan.
