Daughter of Leonel Fernández and Margarita Cedeño graduates with a master's degree

Yolanda América María Fernández Cedeño, daughter of former President Leonel Fernández and former Vice President Margarita Cedeño , celebrated her master's degree graduation yesterday in Educational Psychology from George Washington University in the United States.

The former president shared the family moment on social media, expressing his pride in his 21-year-old daughter's academic achievement .

"As a father, it fills me with pride to see her advance with such commitment and passion for knowledge. Congratulations, my beloved daughter," Fernández wrote.

In his message , the former president also acknowledged Margarita Cedeño's role in raising his daughter, referring to her dedication as a mother.

"We must equally recognize Margarita , an important part of this success, for being a selfless mother, fully dedicated to Yolanda 's professional and emotional development," he said.

The celebration

Cedeño also shared several photographs of the graduation ceremony on his Instagram account, where he appears alongside Fernández and his daughter at the ceremony.

"Congratulations, my Yoli! Today we celebrate with you an achievement that honors your effort, dedication , and passion for continued growth: your master's degree graduation ! This is just the beginning of new challenges and great achievements," Cedeño wrote in his post.
