La Libertad Avanza and the PRO are negotiating against the clock to distribute the candidates on the provincial lists.

Exchanges between the PRO (Progressive Party of Buenos Aires) and La Libertad Avanza regarding the formation of the electoral lists in the province of Buenos Aires continued on Monday, although through telephone conversations rather than an in-person meeting as initially planned.
With the alliance finalized last week, the tandem of Cristian Ritondo and Sebastián Pareja , the main negotiators on both sides, are currently calculating how many candidates each space will have on the ballots of the eight electoral sections in the September 7 elections.
They were the ones who spoke by phone this Monday after the private meetings the Buenos Aires leader of the PRO had with other party leaders such as Guillermo Montenegro (Mar del Plata), Diego Santilli, and the mayor of Vicente López, Soledad Martínez.
The discussion continues over the percentage and number of PRO leaders on each of the ballots . In principle, the agreement guarantees them 25% of the candidates , or one in every four names. In this quest, the Ritondist party hopes to secure at least six legislators in the next Senate and House of Representatives of Buenos Aires Province.
Of those six, four are certain candidates who would renew their seats, either in the Senate or in the House of Representatives of the Province of Buenos Aires. For the former, the PRO candidate would be Christian Gribaudo, current provincial deputy and very close to Ritondo and Santilli, although also linked to Daniel Angelici, the radical Macri operative who clashed with the agreement.
In the second section, another guaranteed name to continue is legislator Matías Ranzini. In the fifth section, a strong leader like Alejandro Rabinovich, current senator, would follow, and in the sixth section, the person who would continue according to the Santillismo's plans is the former Buenos Aires City Security Minister Gustavo Coria, who has held a seat since the beginning of the year, when he replaced Radical deputy Lorenzo Natalí, who died in August of last year.
In addition, two other names must be added to this tally, although they will be women and have not yet been determined. Both will be from the PRO party and will have prominent places on the ballots, guaranteeing themselves potentially strategic seats. It also remains to be seen whether Guillermo Montenegro will be the leading candidate for the fifth section, for General Pueyrredón. If so, the current mayor of Mar del Plata would also be guaranteed the seat.

"We're watching how the territories are developing and accelerating to get everything done on the last two days, Friday and Saturday, to present the lists that same night," say sources close to Ritondo, the main PRO operative.
The PRO wing prefers not to talk about percentages, but the agreement is to include one in every four candidates on average. "It would be 25%, but it could also be 23% or 28% depending on the case," they explain, seeking to avoid tensions with the different sectors of the nascent society.
Furthermore, there's another front open for Ritondo and company, with Patricia Bullrich . At the time, the Minister of Security brought her people into the Libertarian fold, and now they're demanding places on the lists that will have to fight with the newcomers to the alliance.
The regional representative working on the sectional formation is another former PRO member, Diego Valenzuela , mayor of Tres de Febrero. The journalist and economist, who has a good relationship with Javier Milei, has had disagreements with Ritondo in the past.
In the middle of last year, Ritondo became president of the PRO party after the party's structure was gutted and Daniela Reich, a provincial senator and Valenzuela's wife, was ousted. It was then that Bullrich and the mayor decided to begin finalizing a move to the libertarian forces.
