New poll and surprises: Javier Milei 13 points ahead of Villarruel; Karina, 1 behind Grabois

A new national survey confirmed a familiar fact and brought a couple of surprises. The familiar fact? That all politicians have more disapproval than support. The surprises? President Javier Milei finished 13 points ahead of Vice President Victoria Villarruel , and his sister Karina , 1 point behind picketer Juan Grabois .
These numbers come with the latest study from Synopsis , a firm founded in 2015 by political scientist Lucas Romero , now a media regular. The company was born as a spin-off of Ecolatina , the economic consulting firm founded by Roberto Lavagna .

Between July 8 and 14, Synopsis conducted an online survey of 1,495 cases nationwide, with a +/- 2.6% margin of error. Clarín has already released some figures from the study, which, in line with other pollsters, show a decline in the image of Milei and the government in July.
As for the image table, it includes 14 leaders: six from the ruling party and eight from the opposition. All have more negative than positive ratings. Within this critical context, the libertarians stand out.
The ranking is ordered by positive image . This works against the lesser-known leaders at the national level, who end up with lower ratings, both positive and negative.
As for the Top 7, despite the aforementioned decline he experienced this month, Milei remains in first place. He combines +43% with -50%, leaving him with a minus-7 point average.

It's the same negative balance (-7) shown by Manuel Adorni , who improved in the polls after his electoral victory in the City . The official spokesperson has +41% and -48% . The difference with the President is the average image: 7% for Milei and 11% for Adorni.
Patricia Bullrich completes the podium. The Minister of Security and likely candidate for senator for the city in October is another firm favorite among the top candidates in this type of poll. She finishes third here, with a 40% positive rating , a 12% average rating, and a 48% negative rating (a balance of -8 points).
Two other government officials appear at the top of the ticket: Representative José Luis Espert , who could lead the Buenos Aires province ticket in the national legislative elections; and the appointed Villarruel .

In the case of the vice president, it's striking how she distanced herself from Milei. With a positive rating of 30 points, she fell 13 points behind the President in this ranking. When she started her administration, the vice president often outperformed him, a phenomenon that generated suspicion in the Casa Rosada.
Between Espert ( +38% and -49% ) and Villarruel ( +30% and -47% ) were the two main referents of Peronism: Cristina Kirchner and Axel Kicillof . The former president with +35% and -59% , and the governor with +30% and -60% .
The bottom of the table also contains interesting data. One, surprising and anticipated in the title of the article, is that Karina Milei has less support than Juan Grabois.
In the first months of her administration, when she was quickly mentioned as a possible candidate, the Secretary of the Presidency didn't perform too badly. But then, the exposure of her internal dispute with Santiago Caputo , among other things, took a toll on her numbers.
Synopsis has it today with + 28% and - 59% , against + 29% and - 60% of the piquetero K. Both end with a negative balance of 31 points, but he surpasses it by having one more positive point.
The rest of the polls at the bottom of the red list can be divided into two. Sergio Massa and Máximo Kirchner , with the highest negative ratings , are -63% and -64% , respectively.
But with a positive score of 24 and 23 points, the Ks are enough to surpass the last three: one PRO, Mauricio Macri ( + 22% and - 57% ); and two Radicals, Rodrigo de Loredo ( + 16% and - 34% ) and Martín Lousteau ( + 15% and - 59% ).
