Sheinbaum rules out Andy Beltrán's ties to fuel theft.

President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo denied any connection between Andrés Manuel López Beltrán and alleged huachicol fiscal crimes , following the complaint filed by PAN federal deputy Federico Döring Casar .
During her morning press conference on Monday, September 8, the president described the accusations as "pure politicking."
Sheinbaum emphasized that the Federal Government does not have jurisdiction to investigate the case and that it is up to the Attorney General's Office (FGR) to determine any action:
"The prosecutor's office will look into that... Pure politicking by one of the figures known for his corruption," he said.
The president emphasized that her administration maintains a zero-impunity policy for fuel theft, citing the recent arrests of officials and businessmen implicated in fuel theft, carried out with the support of the Semar ( Secretary of State for the Defense of the Navy) and the SSPC (Spanish Ministry of Public Works).
"Where there's official involvement, there's zero impunity... Now, there has to be evidence," he added.
Sheinbaum also clarified that precautionary measures such as account freezes or domain forfeitures are carried out when necessary, through competent authorities such as the UIF and the Prosecutor's Office, ensuring that investigations continue without political influence.
The complaint filed by Döring on August 27 with the Attorney General's Office (FGR) implicates not only López Beltrán, but also other Morena officials, including Tania Contreras López, Juan Carlos Madero Larios, Américo Villarreal Anaya, and Ricardo Peralta, for crimes including conspiracy, smuggling, concealment of trust, and illicit enrichment.
The PAN legislator maintains that this alleged network operated due to irregularities in the customs system detected in 2022, and that the funds obtained could have financed Morena's political campaigns.
