The PRO condemned Florencia Carignano's attacks against Gerardo Milman.

The PRO party's bloc of deputies condemned the statements made by Unión por la Patria (UxP) deputy Florencia Carignano against Gerardo Milman . This occurred during the debate on pension increases and the declaration of a disability emergency held last Wednesday in the Lower House, where insults, accusations, and cross-talk were exchanged.

Faced with this, the pro-Macri camp came out in defense of their legislator. "WE REPUDIATE THE ATTACK BY REPRESENTATIVE CARIGNANO AND EXPRESS OUR FULL SUPPORT FOR GERARDO MILMAN," was the headline in the text shared on Friday afternoon. "From the PRO bloc of deputies , we express our full support for Gerardo Milman , in the face of the treacherous attack by ultra-Kirchnerist representative Florencia Carignano."

"They accuse without evidence, they insult, they shout obscenities, and then they play the victim. But justice always puts things right: false accusations are dismissed, and the corrupt end up convicted. The truth always comes out," stated members of the PRO (Progressive Party) in defense of the congressman, who was once linked to the attempted assassination of former President Cristina Kirchner.

During the session, the Peronist representative took the floor and bluntly criticized the PRO leader. " I'm glad Representative Milman stopped taking the drugs that kept him doped up , lying there like a lettuce for two years. Well, you were able to speak after two years. At that moment, shouts began from the Libertarian bench, and the PRO party interrupted Carignano, although she continued: "Shut up, you crazy woman," she shouted at Lilia Lemoine of La Libertad Avanza, and accused Gerardo Milman of irregularities in the case investigating the attack on the former president.
