Cybersecurity experts warn of the most common scams when booking summer vacations and how to avoid them.

An increasing number of fraudulent websites are deceiving consumers with offers for extremely cheap airline tickets. In this case, cybercriminals use what's known as " phishing " to impersonate official sites and steal customers' money, in addition to selling their data to third parties.
Another of the most common summer vacation scams involves booking accommodations. Criminals also pose as hotels, apartments, and even websites like Booking.com to obtain the victim's banking information and steal their money and the opportunity to enjoy their vacation.
In addition to event planning websites, these scammers also create fake surveys that supposedly offer customers money in exchange for completing them, ultimately stealing their most personal information. Therefore, cybersecurity experts urge people to be wary of any unofficial website.
