Indra will hire 2,400 technology professionals this year for the defense sector.

The Indra Group expects an influx of resumes in the coming months with the goal of increasing its workforce by 2,400 new professionals. Specifically, the Spanish multinational is seeking technological profiles to meet the growing needs of its defense businesses. Among the projects aimed at attracting talent is the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) program, which the Indra Group leads nationally, but also for the development of VCR 8x8 armored vehicles and the next-generation radars on the way. As with many of Indra's defense-focused projects, all of them project uses and applications in the civilian sector. "These professionals will work on cutting-edge dual-use technologies, with a strong impact on the economy, industry, and society," the group emphasizes. Company sources explain that nearly 65% of the vacancies are for experienced professionals, although Indra Group "continues to focus on young talent, for which it reserves 35% of the positions."

The Community of Madrid is the company's main employer, followed by Catalonia, both with nearly 200 vacancies ; Andalusia, with 150; and Galicia, with 100. Castile and León, with 30 available positions, and Asturias, with 20, also have strong growth forecasts to support Indra's business plans.

Due to its local presence in 46 countries and commercial operations in more than 140 markets, Indra professionals also "have the opportunity to participate in international projects, gain multicultural experience, and develop global skills," according to the Spanish multinational.

Mari Carmen Moneva, General Manager of Human Resources at Indra Group, explains that her company, "as a driving force and backbone of the defense, aerospace, and advanced technology industries in Spain, also aims to be the benchmark company for technological talent.
