A century of passion: LMB celebrates 100 years with the All-Star Game

The Mexican Baseball League is celebrating. This Sunday, June 29, at the majestic Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium in Mexico City, the diamond will be dressed up to commemorate 100 years of history, tradition, and excitement . It will be a night to remember, with the most special All-Star Game our baseball has ever seen.

At 7:00 PM, not only will bats and gloves collide, but also memories, dreams, and entire generations who have resonated with this sport. This time, there will be no North versus South. The LMB will innovate by presenting a duel between the League's All-Stars and the Mexican National Baseball Team, comprised of Mexican or naturalized players who play for teams in the summer circuit.

As part of the LMB Centennial celebrations, the Ideal Team of the Century will be honored in the seventh inning , taking the field amid a sound and light show. A moment that promises to give more than a few goosebumps. At the end of the game, the Most Valuable Player award will be presented, thus capping off a day of celebration.

The excitement is also felt in Jalisco, where the Charros will be proudly represented by two key figures : catcher Donny Sands, a key player behind the plate, and outfielder Allen Córdoba, an explosive hitter and speedy defender in the outfield. Both will be wearing the LMB All-Star uniforms, ready to honor the people of Guadalajara.

The team will be led by Lorenzo Bundy, the manager who won the championship with the Diablos Rojos this season, who will be accompanied by a large portion of his scarlet coaching staff. The Diablos, Tecos, Charros, Sultanes, and Guerreros are the teams with the most presence in this match.

Celebrating 100 years is no small feat . It means honoring the afternoons in the park, the hand-me-down gloves, the unforgettable plays, and every soul who ever shouted "playball!" This Sunday, Mexican baseball won't just play a game: it will write a golden page in its history.
