A robbery at the Ciudad Deportiva sports complex forces Rayo Vallecano to cancel its training session.

Rayo Vallecano's first team, which was scheduled to train in the morning, was unable to train at the Ciudad Deportiva on Monday due to a theft of sports equipment at the club's facilities, sources at the Madrid club told Efe.

After two days off following the last match against Getafe, Rayo Vallecano was scheduled to return to training this Monday to begin preparing for next week's match against UD Las Palmas.

The theft of sports equipment from the first-team locker room prevented the team from training, and after a meeting between the captains, the coaching staff, and David Cobeño , the sporting director, the decision was made to suspend the session.

Rayo Vallecano president Raúl Martín Presa arrived at the Ciudad Deportiva just after 2 p.m. to address the issue and discuss the board's next steps in response to the incident.
