Emiliano Ventura, Marc Márquez's physiologist: "He's an example thanks to his mentality and resilience, a true standout."

Emiliano Ventura, Portuguese physiologist and founder of MSI Bioperformance, as well as physio to MotoGP riders Marc and Alex Márquez , stated that Marc is an "outstanding" athlete and in his recovery process, he is an example "thanks to his mentality and resilience."

From the Motor & Sport Institute (MSI) center, Ventura pointed out in an interview with the Efe news agency that "resilience" is the first factor that everyone recognizes when they meet Marc Márquez , whom he defined as "one of a kind" and "an elite athlete like few others in the history of sport."

The expert, known for his work with professional athletes, acknowledged the current leader of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship's "good capacity for recovery and staying at the elite level" after going three years without a win and following a plague of falls and injuries that have kept him away from the track.

Ventura praised Marc's strong start to the season: "What he's doing this year has never been done before in any sport . No multi-time world champion has ever come back to dominate after going three years without winning." He also highlighted "how special" it is to work and be part of the Márquez team.

Regarding his training, he emphasized that he not only addresses the pressure and anxiety the Spanish rider is more than accustomed to, but also seeks to bring the best technologies available on the planet to contribute to his development and improve his performance in competition. Specifically, Ventura works with the Márquez brothers, from strength, flexibility, and endurance to mental aspects and adaptation to the specific physiology of each circuit.

Regarding the Márquez brothers' competitiveness, he considered " the rivalry and battle between Álex and Marc during training" to be "positive ," as it helps raise their level and improve their adaptation to the competition they face on the circuit.
