FMF will file a complaint with the FGR for illegal betting

Following the investigation into match manipulation in the Premier and Expansion Leagues - which led to sanctions for seven players involved from the Real Apodaca and Correcaminos clubs - the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) reports that it has taken new measures to prevent and punish this type of illegal conduct.
This, with the aim of preserving the integrity of footballers, clubs and the industry in general.
Once the Disciplinary Commission concluded its investigation into match manipulation, the Mexican Football Federation will file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office .
In addition, Congress will seek support to promote a bill to toughen penalties for those responsible for these illegal practices.
