Former NFL star Antonio Brown wanted for attempted murder: Police believe he has fled the United States

NFL shocker: Miami police are searching for Antonio Brown , Super Bowl champion with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, for an alleged attempted murder with a firearm , and believe the player may have left the country, heading to the Middle East or Asia.

The receiver reportedly left the United States a few days after the incident , for which he is accused of one count of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm, according to Local 10 News, which has had access to a court document that states that, if arrested, he will have to pay a $10,000 bail to remain under house arrest while awaiting trial.

In this regard, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department has indicated that investigators believe Brown is currently in the Middle East or Asia, although the country and exact date on which he left the United States have not been specified .

The judge's order accuses the 36-year-old player of being responsible for a shooting outside a boxing event in Miami on May 16, for which he was temporarily detained that same night.

Several videos obtained by Miami police show Brown punching another man and starting a fight , after which the player grabbed a gun from a security officer and ran toward his victim, whom he shot twice , according to the warrant.

The assaulted man claimed that the NFL player shot him twice, once grazing his neck , and reported that he had to go to a hospital for treatment for his injuries.

Brown, who is currently without a team, gave his version of what happened a day later on 'X' (formerly Twitter), claiming he was attacked by individuals who wanted to steal his jewelry: "Contrary to what is seen in some videos, the police temporarily detained me until they heard my version of events and then released me. I returned home that night and was not arrested ."
