Juan Carlos Osorio, the new name on the list for Chivas' manager

After being against the clock to find the new coach of Chivas, the board of directors of the red and white team continues its search for the coach to occupy the Guadalajara bench for the next campaign , so now the name of Juan Carlos Osorio has emerged as a possible addition to the Sacred Flock.
The 63-year-old Colombian coach has emerged as one of the options to take the Guadalajara bench , as he is currently without a team and possesses extensive knowledge of Mexican soccer.
"Profe" Osorio's performance had already been considered by Guadalajara's management before his arrival at the Tijuana team, as well as after his performance with the Mexican national team during the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Despite Chivas' interest in previous tournaments, there hadn't been an opportunity for him to join Guadalajara. However, he's now one of the names on the table for the red-and-white board to lead the team in the 2025 Apertura Tournament.
Osorio has a deep understanding of Mexican soccer , having worked at clubs such as Puebla and Tijuana, in addition to his experience during the World Cup with the Mexican national team. This has allowed him to gain proven experience working with Mexican soccer players.
One of the main factors in favor of Juan Carlos Osorio for a possible move to Guadalajara is his familiarity with key players within the squad, such as Javier Hernández and Erick Gutiérrez, with whom he played on the Mexican national team and coached during the World Cup in Russia.
In addition to his tactical approach and his priority for working with young players, he maintains an excellent relationship with " Chicharito " , to the point that the striker himself has expressed that under the Colombian strategist's orders he lived his best footballing moment.
“Professor” Osorio spent his most recent coaching career leading the Tijuana team , where he achieved a 42 percent effectiveness rate, standing out for breaking a negative streak of ten tournaments without qualifying for the playoffs for the border team.
