Mexico's U-20 Women's team thrashes Costa Rica and advances to the CONCACAF World Cup Final

The Mexican U-20 Women's National Team continues its unstoppable run at the 2025 Concacaf U-20 Women's Championship.
The team led by Dorival dos Santos soundly defeated Costa Rica 4-0 in the semifinals, played at the Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium in Alajuela.
From the opening minutes, the tricolor team imposed its influence. Montserrat Saldívar opened the scoring in the sixth minute after a collective play.

Natalia Muñoz then extended the lead in the 26th minute with a well-placed shot.
Alice Soto was the star of the match, scoring a brace.
The midfielder scored the third in the 43rd minute and sealed the game with her second goal in the 78th minute, thus sealing Mexico 's place in both the grand final and the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup , which will be held in 2026 in Poland.
El Tricolor will face Canada again in the tournament final, scheduled for Sunday, June 8 at 11:30 a.m.
In the group stage, Mexico had already beaten the Canadian team by a score of 4-2 .
