Thousands of Barcelona fans celebrate the league title at Canaletes

Thousands of Barcelona fans are celebrating this morning in Canaletes , the usual meeting place for the Barça club's successes, the LaLiga EA Sports title won this Thursday by the first football team after beating Espanyol (0-2).

Barça fans took over the Les Rambles area in the center of the Catalan capital just after the match ended.

The Barcelona fans gathered at this point in the city sang songs, waved Barça flags, and lit flares. Some fans also climbed the local lampposts to celebrate the title.

The Blaugrana first team will celebrate the domestic treble (Spanish Super Cup, Copa del Rey, and LaLiga title won today) this Friday with a parade through the streets of the Catalan capital. They will also celebrate their success with the fans next Sunday at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, after the LaLiga match against Villarreal.
