Video: La Bombonera exploded and insulted Boca Juniors' commission and players.

Boca Juniors is in chaos, and La Bombonera felt it. The Boca Juniors fans erupted, chanting against the "Commission" from the stands for the first time.
For the first time since Juan Román Riquelme became Boca's president, the fans' anger was directed at their leadership. As soon as Leandro Rey Hilfer signaled the end of the match against Lanús, the fans erupted. The now familiar " Players, motherfuckers" chant was followed by an unprecedented "The Commission, the Commission, go to hell!" , which roared down furiously from the stands at the Bombonera stadium. The penalty shootout victory calmed the mood, but it seems to be just another life.

THE ANDES
The crowd's discontent was palpable throughout the night, beginning with boos for Marcos Rojo, Tomás Belmonte, and Alan Velasco when the stadium announcer announced the team. It continued with the first warning, "Movete Boca, movete," at 26 minutes into the first half, when the Granate team was almost ahead. At the end of the first half, it escalated with more boos for the entire team.
The second half continued in the same vein. Gradually, the temperature rose, and towards the end, much more aggressive chants were heard: the famous "Players, motherfuckers!" and the harsh "Let them all go, let there be not a single one left." However, the height of tension came at the end of the 90 minutes .

Without naming him, because no Boca fan would insult him, a good portion of the fans exploded against a section of the leadership led by Juan Román Riquelme . "The Commission, the Commission, go to hell," was the chant chosen to target what would become the Football Council , composed of former club glories: Raúl Cascini , Mauricio Serna , and Marcelo Delgado .
It was an unprecedented rebuke, given who it was aimed at, particularly striking for its timing (just before the penalty shootout), and especially from the Bombonera stands. In fact, once they had qualified for the quarterfinals, the Popular Party chanted: "Plateísta botón, plateísta botón, you're a son of a bitch, the fucking mother who gave birth to you."

La 12 betrayed its own people. It tried to drown out the angry chants at La Bombonera, and at the end of the match, it sang: "Plateista botón, plateista botón, you're a son of a bitch."

And beyond the anger with the entire team and the Commission (sic), there were three players targeted throughout the match. Marcos Rojo, Tomás Belmonte, and Alan Velasco , all three whistled at the moment the teams were announced, and the last two were whistled off when they were substituted towards the end of the match.
The captain, who again scored his penalty kick in a shootout (he's 9 for 9), is being blamed not only for his unfortunate statements after the defeat in the Superclásico, which he later retracted , but also for a long series of injuries and absences, which add up to the fact that he's one of the key figures of a team that's not playing in the Copa Libertadores for the second consecutive year. His relationship with the fans has had several ups and downs and doesn't seem to have suffered a definitive breakdown. The penalty he converted saved him from further rebuke.

Belmonte was also booed , specifically for his footballing prowess. The former Lanús player isn't among the crowd's favorites, but he hasn't performed significantly worse than his teammates in recent matches. In any case, he also seems to have a fair amount of credit.
Finally, a special case in point: Alan Velasco . The $10 million signing was under scrutiny for missing the final penalty in the series against Alianza Lima , which knocked Boca out of the Copa Libertadores in Phase 2. He also didn't have any great matches and, for now, his footballing potential is definitely in short supply .
