Dutchman Mark van Rennes, the captain of the activist ship that wanted to sail to the Gaza Strip, will not return to the Netherlands on Friday, his family announced.
Van Rennes and two other volunteers were supposed to be deported and flown back, but were returned to a prison from Tel Aviv airport. The captain managed to send a voice message to his family on a borrowed phone, saying that his return could be several weeks away.
