Tens of thousands of people on Malieveld for Gaza protest

At around 12:45, tens of thousands of people dressed almost unanimously in red were already standing on the Malieveld in The Hague. They are there to protest against the government's policy on Israel.
A reporter on the scene estimates that there are more than 50,000 people present. According to him, the Malieveld is now largely full. In the meantime, a large stream of demonstrators is still arriving from The Hague Central Station. People are also coming from the city towards the Malieveld.
Attendees carry flags, including the Palestinian flag. People also walk around with signs with slogans such as "Violence is never a solution", "Do something" and "You can no longer hide", another reporter sees. She also sees someone walking with an Israeli flag, which says "Netanyahu war criminal".
Peace PalaceThe atmosphere is friendly. The attendees are of all ages, from young to old.
The podium program of the demonstration has now started. The audience that has gathered was asked, among other things, whether they are angry, furious and sad and whether they feel the mourning, to which the attendees repeatedly shouted yes. After the podium program, the demonstrators walk to the Peace Palace and back.
