"Parliamentary Indiscretions." Trzaskowski Loses Allies. Kaczyński Plays Mentzen

Marcin Kierwiński, after joining the Ministry of Interior and Administration, began purges.
– On his first day in office, he fired the director general of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Bartosz Wiśniakowski, Tomasz Siemoniak’s man – says our informant.
He adds: "Magdalena Roguska, Marcin's closest aide, who he follows everywhere, was immediately appointed deputy minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration. Interestingly, Marcin Kierwiński reportedly learned he was returning to the government on the Sunday preceding Wednesday's reshuffle."
According to our interlocutor, however, he did not know at that time what position he was returning to.
– There was talk that he could become head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, and Jan Grabiec would take over the Ministry of State Assets – he says.
According to our informant, Marcin Kierwiński was to learn the details of his nomination on Tuesday at 3 p.m., the day before the reconstruction.
– I heard the secretary inviting him to see the Prime Minister at this hour – says our informant.
