We've written many times about the initiative, spearheaded by members of the Przemyśl "Bowler Hat" Club Association, led by Zbigniew Bednarczyk. The bear is an indispensable symbol of Przemyśl, so a series of bronze figurines placed throughout the city is entirely natural. It so happened that within a few days, Przemyśl's bear family grew by two more, both within the Market Square. First, on May 22nd, a bear dedicated to the Bieszczady Border Guard Unit in Przemyśl was placed near the iconic "Szanter" confectionary. The bear is, after all, their symbol. This was the 16th figurine in the city, and its creation was connected to the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Border Guard Unit...

On June 12th of this year, a few dozen meters away, at the foot of the Przemyśl City Hall building, or more precisely, right next to the entrance to the "Niedźwiadek" pub, the 17th bear was officially unveiled. This time, it was donated by the pub's owner, Robert Wróbel...
