A celebration of social activity. The Great Passion Picnic

The XVIII Week of Non-Governmental Initiatives has been underway in Szczecin since Monday. This annual event brings together non-governmental organizations, informal groups, volunteers and residents, providing space for joint action, exchange of experiences and building a civil society. Throughout the week, residents can take part in events, workshops, meetings and social campaigns organized by local NGOs and partners.
On Saturday, June 14, an outdoor event will be held in the garden of INKU, the Creative Sectors Incubator and the Northern Chamber of Commerce. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., residents of Szczecin and the surrounding area will enjoy free attractions for entire families, including stands of local non-governmental organizations and institutions, a bouncy castle for children, creative workshops and animations, concerts and artistic performances, food trucks with delicious food, lots of inspiration, contacts and good energy.
This is an opportunity to learn about local initiatives and people who create non-governmental Szczecin. The Samarytanin Association will present a specially adapted ambulance for children. This is not only an attraction, but also a valuable lesson - members of the association will educate the youngest and adults in the field of first aid. The Iskry Nauki Association will take participants on a journey to the stars. At their stand, you will be able to explore the secrets of space, see astronomical models and talk about the wonders of the Universe. The Office of the Municipal Consumer Advocate from the City Office will be at the disposal of the event participants, providing practical advice and information on consumer rights. This is an opportunity to dispel everyday doubts about purchases and learn how to protect your interests. The Paczka dla Bohatera Association will remind us of those to whom we owe our freedom. Their activities for veterans and combatants show that memory and help are important social values. At their stand, you will be able to learn more about volunteering and real support for the heroes of history. The Bushikan Karate Club Association will prepare dynamic demonstrations of karate techniques. Their presentation is not only a martial art, but also a message of values such as discipline, respect and personal development.
