A famous actress talks about the rainbow in Savior Square. "I'm so glad it's coming back. Who cares?"

"The rainbow is a global symbol of equality, openness, and inclusion for all people – including LGBTQIA+ people. Julita Wójcik's "Rainbow," which stood in Savior Square in Warsaw from 2012 to 2015, was a widely recognized symbol of Warsaw, one of several important symbols of LGBT+ equality in the world – like Harvey Milk Plaza in San Francisco, the Stonewall National Monument in NYC, and the Homomonument in Amsterdam. It was also a symbol of social change and hope for LGBT+ people in Poland. It gave Savior Square its heart. It's time for the rainbow to return!" wrote the project's originators, appealing for the votes of Warsaw residents.

As they detailed, "the project will involve erecting a small architectural structure in the center of Savior Square in the shape of a broken arch, called the "LGBT+ Arch." The structure will be made of the least flammable materials possible and painted in the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. It will be placed perpendicularly in the historic Stanisławowska Axis, in keeping with its urban design. It is intended to restore the traditional character of the square."

As it turns out, actress Anna Nehrebecka is a supporter of the return of the rainbow to Savior Square.

"I'm so glad the rainbow is coming back. Who cares about it?" she admitted on the "Wprost Przeciwnie" podcast.
