A Polish man has disappeared near Berlin. His sister's touching appeal

Jakub Greszta comes from Głogów in Lower Silesia. He hasn't lived in Poland for over three years. In 2022, he decided to leave the country to look for work. He decided to move to Germany.

Initially based in Berlin, he spent the last few months in Koenigs Wusterhausen, approximately 30 kilometers from the German capital.

Mysterious disappearance of a Pole in Germany

According to the 23-year-old's family, he hasn't contacted them in over a month. Jakub Greszta was last seen on Thursday, June 12th . According to his roommates, the Pole was supposed to have gone outside the hostel to smoke a cigarette around 6 a.m. When his friends went downstairs, the man was gone.

That same day , Jakub Greszta allegedly called his family to ask them to buy a bus ticket to Poland , as he wanted to visit them. This was the last conversation between his family and the 23-year-old. From that moment on, there was no trace of him. On June 14, Jakub Greszta's family reported him missing to the police. He may have documents and a phone with him, but they are currently inactive.

The missing man's sister posted a moving appeal online . "Kuba, I hope you read these words and give us some sign of life. Know that you are not alone, that many people care about you, and you can always count on us," wrote Dominika.

"It's been over a month, and I have so much faith and hope that nothing bad has happened to you. Please contact us, even if only to let us know you're alive. We love you," she added.

Jakub Greszta is missing. Police are appealing for help.

Jakub Greszta is approximately 175 cm tall, has short, dark hair, and brown eyes. He has a slim build. He has a distinctive mark on his neck – a tattoo of a cobra.

People who have any information that could help determine the whereabouts of the 23-year-old are asked to contact the District Police Headquarters in Głogów at the following telephone numbers: 47 87 422 00 , 47 87 422 01 or the emergency number 112 .
