An unusual intervention by the Augustów police. The swan's rescue came just in time

Police officers from the Augustów patrol unit responded to a report of a swan lying on the roadway of Waryńskiego Street. The bird was scared and had difficulty moving. The officers quickly realized that the problem was caused by a tangled fishing line, which prevented the swan from functioning normally.

One of the drivers, seeing the whole situation, stopped and, together with the police, caught the frightened swan. Thanks to their cooperation, the bird was gently freed from the trap. The officers made sure that the swan had not suffered any serious injuries, and after a moment of rest, the bird safely swam back to its natural habitat.
