Celebration of the 260th anniversary of Świnoujście. Competition for creatives

In connection with the celebration of the 260th anniversary of the City of Świnoujście, the Department of Education of the City Office announces a competition for the most interesting presentation and costume of an educational institution as part of the City Parade. The competition aims to honor this exceptional anniversary. The announcement of the results will take place on June 21, 2025 at the North Basin.

This year marks the 260th anniversary of Świnoujście receiving city rights in 1765. On June 21, the City Parade will pass through the city streets, constituting the central point of the celebrations. On this special occasion, the Education Department of the City Office is announcing a competition for the most interesting presentation and costume of educational institutions that will take part in this event.

The competition is addressed to educational institutions for which the governing body is the Municipality of the City of Świnoujście. Its aim is to celebrate the 260th anniversary of the city, as well as to awaken the creative and artistic invention of Świnoujście youth. The requirement for participation in it is to submit an application form correctly completed by the director of the institution by 17 June 2025. Applications will be accepted both electronically to the address [email protected], as well as in person at the seat of the Department of Education of the Świnoujście City Office, ul. Wojska Polskiego 1/5, 72-600 Świnoujście.

The competition jury will evaluate the presentations according to several criteria: general artistic impression, creative inventiveness and invention, aesthetics and precision of execution, as well as the form of presentation of the costume. From among the submitted institutions, the jury will select the one that stands out with the most creative approach to the topic.

The competition results will be announced on June 21, 2025 at the North Basin, as part of the City Parade celebrations. The winning facility will receive a cash prize. ©℗
