Children's Day in Szczecin - a weekend full of attractions

Fun with motorcyclists at the Museum of Technology

Saturday, May 31, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Museum of Technology, Niemierzyńska Street.

Motorcyclists with Big Hearts invite you to the 9th Motorcycle Children's Day. In the courtyard of the museum, there will be: the illusionist Mr Redi, the "Gwitajcie" Variety Theater, zumba dancers, Daniel Traut - two-time Polish champion and Guinness record holder in timed haircutting - will be present. Children can count on ice cream, cotton candy, sweets, a tour of the museum and an inflatable slide - all for free. Balloons will fly into the sky, competitions will be held in which each participant will receive a prize, there will be face painting. Members of the Water Volunteer Rescue Service will conduct first aid training for children. Children will be able to take a closer look at motorcycles, a rarity will be a racing motorcycle of the Szczecin sports club "Mako Ring".

Children's Night in Krzemień

Saturday, May 31, 7-10 p.m., Krzemień Cultural Center

DK "Krzemień" in Podjuchy invites children and parents to the Children's Night. This event will take place on the night of May 31, starting at 7 p.m. The program includes a meeting with Star Wars heroes and the Fun Wars Star Exhibition, a sensory journey through the Invisible Jungle, workshops on creating reflectors, a meeting with exotic animals thanks to the Egalismo Foundation and workshops by the Kamishibai Theater. The grand finale of the evening is the multimedia spectacle "Stukoszelest" that tames fears of the dark (9 p.m.). This is a night full of magic and unforgettable memories that will show children that the unknown can be fascinating.

Water Factory full of fun

Triple celebration at MCN

The Prof. Jerzy Stelmach Marine Science Centre invites you to join us in celebrating three special occasions: World Oceans Day, Children's Day and the second birthday of the Marine Science Centre.

On Saturday, the ocean will be the center of attention – its inhabitants, secrets and records. The planned activities include creative workshops with 3D pens, microscopic observations of marine life, educational activities in the STEAM Workshop, geological workshops and a popular science lecture. In the evening, MCN invites adults to a relaxing, multi-sensory screening of “Water Odyssey” in the Planetarium, as well as a unique meeting with the legend of Polish sailing – captain Krzysztof Baranowski, who sailed around the world alone twice.

On Sunday, MCN will celebrate twice – Children's Day and its second birthday. Among the attractions, there will be a family city walk with puzzles, comic book workshops, chemical shows, a photo booth, a field game, a cosplay competition with prizes, DIY ecological workshops and film screenings in the Planetarium. There will also be a birthday cake, balloons and surprises. In the afternoon, creative workshops and a presentation of a new exhibit – Bowhead whale bones – will take place in the educational zone.

On the Bright Meadows - fun with the little one

The program includes: 1 p.m. plein air painting with Kasia Pawlikowska Spot – art classes and workshops. 2 p.m. field game, where participants will have to find all the colors of the rainbow together. 3:30 p.m. a great soap bubble show. 4 p.m. - announcement of the winner of this year's edition of Brzdąc - a distinction awarded to adults by children. 4:45 p.m. - Splash of Colors fun.

There will also be: sports activities with MOSRiR Szczecin, a toddler zone with: a creative corner, blocks, balls, live mascots, a balloon zoo, integration games and activities, the Kamienica 1 Foundation will invite you to learn about the Roundnet game. One of the attractions will be a joint reading of fairy tales with the Metrum Historical Reconstruction Association, as well as a Pogoń Szczecin coach. In addition: face painting, inflatables, popcorn and ice cream, large-format games, exhibitions of equipment and vehicles of uniformed services, old cars and motorcycles, and first aid with the Voivodeship Emergency Medical Service Station.

On the Rosary

Różanka invites you to the Children's Theatre Day in the glade. The programme includes a unique performance that will take the youngest on an adventurous and surprising journey with Dziobek - a character known from Katarzyna Brzozowska's books. The following will perform: Adrianna Janowska-Moniuszko, actress of the Contemporary Theatre in Szczecin, and Kasia Brzozowska, author of the books "Stukoszelest" and "Dzióbek". After the performance, it is planned to create colourful balloons in a soap bubble setting.

At 12:00 the concert "Meeting with the Accordion" will begin. The audience will be entertained by students of the accordion class of Bogdan Górnik - a teacher at the Feliks Nowowiejski State Music School Complex in Szczecin and the Tadeusz Szeligowski State Music School of the 1st degree.

Children's Sports Day

Sunday, June 1, 10am-3pm

The sports-themed Children's Day will take place on the Jasne Błonia in Szczecin. The event is organized by the Pogoń Szczecin Football Schools Foundation.

The event will last from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will begin with the distribution of starter packs, which will include a T-shirt and a task card, followed by a joint warm-up. The event plan includes many attractions for entire families. These include sports activities and competitions, games, fun, contests and surprises, special zones: health, ecology, art, cycling, freestyle football and basketball shows, dance and demonstration training. There will also be a mascot Gryfus, face painting, balloon twisting and soap bubbles.

Special zones with sports stations will be located on the lawn and the parking lot. The health zone will host classes for children and youth on prevention and a healthy lifestyle for the second year in a row. Participants of the event will also face issues related to ecology. There will also be a bicycle zone with a special track and an information stand on the tourist attractions of Western Pomerania.

The West Pomerania Zone will be one of ten zones where you can earn a stamp needed to complete the event challenge and receive the final reward.

The Pomeranian Dukes' Castle - "The Wild West in Western Pomerania"

On the occasion of Children's Day on Sunday afternoon, the castle terraces will be transformed into a colorful, western land, full of creative fun. The program includes many attractions: theater performances, games and competitions, animations, dances and educational activities - all in the atmosphere of the Wild West. The Academic Equestrian Center of the University of Technology at 21-25 Junacka Street in Szczecin will host a Patriotic and Health Picnic called "CHILDREN'S DAY IN THE STABLE". As every year, the organizers have planned plenty of attractions for the youngest, including a display of military equipment and horseback riding.

Opening of the season on Arkonka,

Sunday, June 1st from 10am

"Szczecińska Mallorka" officially starts the bathing season on Sunday. From that day on, Arkonka will be open from Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm, and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until 8 pm. From August, on all days of the week from 10 am to 7 pm.

All swimming pools will be available to visitors: sports, teardrop, sea, wild river and slides. Lifeguards will ensure safety. In addition to the swimming pools, other attractions include tennis courts (for a fee) and badminton courts (free from this season), barbecue areas, playground, outdoor gym, sun loungers, hammocks, artificial beach, beach volleyball courts and a skate park. There will also be four catering points, as well as inflatables and trampolines (additionally payable).
