Children Ate Bat and Died: Mysterious Disease in Africa

The Africa branch of the World Health Organization (WHO) says the first outbreak of the disease occurred on January 21 in the city of Boloko, in the northwestern part of the country. According to reports, three children died in the city after eating a bat and then developing symptoms resembling hemorrhagic fever.
