This year it was different than last year because the order was changed. Then the faithful walked in a Eucharistic procession from the Archcathedral Basilica to the Salesians.
This time, the ceremony began in the church of St. Joseph - Salesians with the Eucharist, presided over by the Metropolitan of Przemyśl, Archbishop A. Szal. Then the faithful went in a procession through the streets of the city to four altars. The first at the Church of the Holy Trinity, the second - at the foot of the Franciscan Church, the third - at the Greek Catholic Cathedral, and finally to the one located at the Archcathedral Basilica.
The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, commonly known as Corpus Christi, is a liturgical celebration in the Catholic Church to honor Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, celebrated on the Thursday after the octave of Pentecost, and in some other countries on the Sunday after the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity.
