Free training and tournaments for children with disabilities

Children with disabilities from Oborniki Śląskie and the surrounding area will soon be able to participate in free soccer training. The Oborniki Śląskie Football Club is joining the nationwide Futbol Plus program, which provides opportunities for development, integration, and fun in a safe, supportive environment.

The Oborniki Śląskie Football Club is joining the nationwide Futbol Plus project, which aims to engage children and youth with various disabilities. The project offers completely free football training, tournaments, team-building trips, matches, and sporting events.

Participating in Futbol Plus is an opportunity for children to develop in a safe and supportive environment, build relationships and self-esteem, and above all, have fun among their peers.

The program brings together academies and clubs from all over Poland, and Oborniki Śląskie accepts children aged 5 to 18 not only from the commune, but also from the entire district and surrounding area, where there is currently no other club implementing this program.

Classes are scheduled to begin in September, after at least 10 participants have registered. Training sessions will take place at least once a week. Participation in all classes, travel to tournaments, and accommodation are completely free. Tournaments are held at prestigious stadiums, including Lechia Gdańsk and Chorzów, and are often honored by the presence of famous athletes and public figures.

"We encourage parents and guardians of children with disabilities to contact us and register," encourages the club's goalkeeping and rugby coach, Tomasz Osiński. "We also run a free rugby section for children, so there's something for everyone."
