Holidays have never been so expensive. New record prices for vacations at travel agencies.
Only the average price in Bulgaria dropped by 83 zlotys.
This is the fourth, and in some cases fifth, week in which these popular destinations have seen their prices rise. If you do the math, it turns out that during this time, Turkey has increased its prices by a total of 786 złoty, Egypt by 677 złoty, Greece by 648 złoty, the Canary Islands by 586 złoty, and Bulgaria by 357 złoty.
The latest price increases have pushed average prices for popular destinations to new highs – Greece to PLN 6,404, the Canary Islands to PLN 6,146, Turkey to PLN 5,661, and Egypt to PLN 4,225.
However, it should be remembered that the report refers to trips that start this week – from August 4 to 10, trips further in time do not necessarily have to be subject to such sharp increases.
Holidays of 2025 much more expensive than in 2024And how do the new prices compare to those from a year ago? Traveldata experts compared them and concluded that the average price last week was PLN 214 higher than last year's average (the week before, it was PLN 109 higher).
As we learn from the report, the largest year-on-year increases in travel prices occurred in Aegean Turkey, by PLN 1,171, Djerba, by PLN 788, and Gran Canaria – by PLN 708.
