It is going to be harder to get a Polish passport

Poland has some of the most liberal regulations on granting citizenship. A foreigner only needs to live in Poland for three years to be able to successfully apply for a Polish passport. In response to growing immigration, especially Ukrainian immigration, PiS wants to follow the example of other European countries and raise the requirements for foreigners. This is about extending the minimum period of uninterrupted residence in Poland from three to ten years.
