More successes of the checkers youth from the Lubaczów region

The XXII Integration Tournament for the Cup of the Mayor of Kłodzko in 100-square checkers took place in Kłodzko. The only representative of the Podkarpackie province, Krzysztof Wojtyszyn (10 years old) from Unia Horyniec-Zdrój won the tournament in the open category and in the category under 13. The best women and players over 75 years of age were also awarded.

The Checkers' Tatras conquered in Biały Dunajec

In Biały Dunajec, the 4-day XI National Junior Tournament for the Tatra Cup and the X National Tournament for the Tatra Cup in 64-square (flying) checkers took place. In the junior tournament, two tournaments were played (100- and 64-square checkers) and after adding up the points from both tournaments, the best were awarded.

Katarzyna Bąk (all SGU Czarni Oleszyce); boys: 1. Piotr Mamczura, 2. Miłosz Cios (both Unia Horyniec-Zdrój); under 8 category – girls: 1. Karolina Bąk (SGU Czarni); boys: 1. Jan Juzwa, 2. Adrian Ludwik (both Unia), 3. Adam Lechowicz (SGU Czarni); under 13 category – boys: 3. Tomasz Dobrowolski (Unia); junior tournament for the Tatra Cup (flying checkers) – open category: 2. Paweł Sagan (SGU Czarni).

In the junior category under 16, Nina Kalmuk (SGU Czarni) won, who also took 1st place in the women's category. In the junior category under 19, Filip Kalmuk (SGU Czarni) won. Higher checkers categories were won by: Jan Juzwa (IV), Adrian Ludwik (IV), Julia Nowak (IV), Zuzanna Ćwik (IV), Piotr Mamczura (V) and Miłosz Cios (V).
