A few days ago, we presented data on property and education in the Żmigród Commune, taken from last year's report on the state of the commune. It also includes detailed information on the aid and social support activities undertaken by the Żmigród Commune. These initiatives primarily focus on improving residents' living conditions through various forms of assistance, integration, and social activation. We present them below.

Addiction prevention PLN 478,540 – nearly 100% of the planned budget – has been allocated to the implementation of the Municipal Prevention Program for Solving Alcohol-Related Problems and Counteracting Drug Addiction. Municipal authorities anticipate a further increase in demand for preventive measures due to the growing availability of alcohol and psychoactive substances. The state is doing nothing about it. Meanwhile, the financial and social costs are rising.
Support for people with disabilities The Solidarity Fund for Support of Disabled Persons financed personal assistant services (PLN 531,700) and respite care (PLN 108,200). Both projects were implemented by the St. Jadwiga of Silesia Association for Social Integration.
The year 2024 showed that Żmigród actively works for the benefit of its residents, combining emergency aid with long-term support and prevention programs.
