Polish Presidential Elections: There Will Be a Second Round. Trzaskowski vs. Nawrocki. The Second One Triumphed in Podkarpacie

On June 1st, Children's Day, the second round of presidential elections will be held in Poland. On both sides of the barricade will be the candidate of the Civic Coalition Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki supported by Law and Justice. The latter - according to the exit poll - won in Podkarpacie.
As reported by the Polish Press Agency, a survey published after the closing of polling stations shows that the second round of the presidential election will feature KO candidate R. Trzaskowski, who received 30.8 percent of the votes, and PiS-supported K. Nawrocki with 29.1 percent support.
According to the exit poll conducted by Ipsos for: TVN24, Polsat News and TVP, R. Trzaskowski obtained the highest result in the first round in 10 voivodeships: Lower Silesia, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Lubusz, Masovian, Opole, Pomeranian, Silesian, Warmian-Masurian, Greater Poland, West Pomeranian.
K. Nawrocki won in six voivodeships: Lublin, Łódź, Lesser Poland, Subcarpathia, Podlaskie, Świętokrzyskie.
As reported by Zygmunt Leszczyński from the Przemyśl Delegation of the National Electoral Commission, the official election results in our region will be known at around 4 a.m. on May 19 this year.
