Road investments at the start. Six roads to be rebuilt

The city has selected a contractor for a large-scale project, with which on April 30 – with the countersignature of treasurer Janina Kaczmarz – the contract was signed by Mayor Mieczysław Piziurny. The company Leszek Kochanowicz Firma Usługowo-Handlowo Produkcyjna from Raniżów, selected from among four bidders, will be responsible for the modernization, as it submitted the most favorable price offer. The entire work will cost PLN 5,542,594.86, with the local government's own contribution amounting to only PLN 655,434.52. The rest will be co-financing from the Polish Deal program in the amount of PLN 4,887,160.34. The investment will cover a total of 6 streets that are currently in very poor condition. These are: Cicha, Gruszki, Okrzei, Rybacka, Zarzecze and Zielona. As part of this undertaking, reconstruction, including securing and rebuilding the existing technical infrastructure, reconstruction of the storm sewer system and the gas pipeline, will take place on Cicha Street together with the intersection with Batorego Street. The next task under the contract concluded with the contractor will be the reconstruction of Gruszki Street (including the intersection with Polna, Zarzecze and Narutowicza Streets) together with the reconstruction and securing of the current technical infrastructure, reconstruction of the storm sewer system and the gas pipeline.
