Russia's War with Ukraine. Day 1206

The deceased was a resident of the province of Utrecht. The death of the man was confirmed by the Dutch Foreign Ministry. The man was supposed to go to Ukraine in 2022 and volunteer for the Ukrainian army, to fight against injustice and defend democratic values, as his family members say. At the end of 2023, he returned to the Netherlands to spend the last months of his life with his terminally ill father. Then he returned to Ukraine.
