Russia's War with Ukraine. Day 1248
Despite its camouflage, the howitzer was located and destroyed by drone operators from the 424th Unmanned Systems Forces Battalion.
The recordings show drone operators of the "Feniks" unit destroying a tank and two fuel and lubricant depots.
The Luhansk River is a tributary of the Seversky Donets. The Center for National Resistance, a Ukrainian government website that covers the situation in occupied Ukraine, reports that Russians are dumping sewage into it. This is allegedly polluting the river, and – as the Ukrainian side notes – it flows into the Seversky Donets, the largest water source in the Luhansk Oblast. "This is not an oversight – it is an act of ecological terror that threatens the lives of tens of thousands of people," the Center for National Resistance warns.
In Vinnytsia Oblast, two men of military age, banned from leaving the country due to martial law, attempted to illegally cross the border with Moldova by jet skiing along the Dniester River. The detainees were a 39-year-old resident of Poltava Oblast and a 22-year-old resident of Vinnytsia Oblast.
Airports in Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Magas (the capital of Ingushetia), Mineralnye Vody, Nalchik, Stavropol, Sochi, and Tambov were closed to passengers. The Russian Civil Aviation Authority (Rosavia) cited security concerns as the reason for the suspension.
The massive drone attack on Krasnodar Krai was reported by its governor, Veniamin Kondratiev. His Telegram post shows that drone debris fell on a railway station in Timashevsk, damaging the carriages of a passenger train passing through the city. Two people were injured. Kondratiev assured that the railway infrastructure was not damaged. Residential buildings were damaged in two regions of Krasnodar Krai.
This is what the situation looked like on the front on the 1247th day of the war
