Serious accident. Three people injured, dog killed.

Serious accident. Three people injured, dog killed.

On Sunday afternoon, August 3, at approximately 12:30, emergency services were alerted to a serious accident on the road between Oborniki Śląskie and Rościsławice.

A traffic patrol was dispatched to the incident. Fire crews and an ambulance also arrived. At the scene, they found two wrecked cars and injured people.

According to police, the 38-year-old driver of a Skoda Octavia lost control of the vehicle. He was likely driving too fast. The car veered into the oncoming lane and collided violently with a Nissan Qashqai that was traveling correctly. Behind the wheel of the second car was a 70-year-old resident of the Wrocław district, and next to him was a 64-year-old woman.

All involved in the accident were taken to hospital. A dead dog was found in the trunk of the Skoda. The animal likely died from the force of the impact. One of the injured person's employees secured the animal.

During the check, police confirmed that both drivers were sober and had valid driving licenses. Unfortunately, it also turned out that the Skoda driven by the 38-year-old from Wołów County was not roadworthy – its registration certificate had been confiscated.

An investigative team and a forensic technician worked on site for several hours, securing evidence and documenting the course of the incident. Photo: Trzebnica Police Headquarters.
