The Miś Confectionery Plant managed to cope in a difficult market for years. Even in times of transformation and growing competition, they were profitable. Despite the pressure from retail chains, the company stayed afloat – until it fell into the hands of an investment fund, which, according to Miś's former president, Mirosław Urniaż, marked the beginning of its end. In an interview with us, he tells us about the background of the fall of a famous brand.

- It might be worth taking an interest in the former Miś plant in Oborniki Śląskie. Someone must have bought it - some of the buildings are being renovated, and a poster has appeared on the former plant - for rent - this is the content of an e-mail sent to us by one of the residents.

We contacted one of the co-owners of the former Miś. He told us that he had to consult with his partner whether he could tell them about their plans for the development of the former plant's property.

- We are not interested in providing such information because of the GDPR, our tenants may not want it - he said when we called again.

We asked him to say in general what the purpose of the buildings was to be. He did not want to say that either. According to unofficial information that has reached us, the renovated part, at the main entrance - at the intersection of Kościuszki and Piłsudskiego streets, will house a gym.
