The 45th Przemyśl Archdiocesan Walking Pilgrimage to Jasna Góra has set off [VIDEO]

This year’s pilgrimage is accompanied by the slogan “Pilgrims of Hope”, referring to the programme of the Jubilee Year 2025 announced by Pope Francis.

It began traditionally at 7:00 with a Holy Mass in the Przemyśl Archcathedral. The Eucharist was presided over by the Metropolitan of Przemyśl, Archbishop Adam Szal, and Archbishop Senior Józef Michalik and the gathered priests – the Pilgrimage Board, spiritual guides of individual groups, pastors and pilgrims going physically and spiritually to Jasna Góra – prayed at the altar.

The pilgrims will cover a distance of approximately 33 km every day to reach Jasna Góra on July 15.
