The President of the Public Procurement Office has a new task

This concerns the provisions concerning the possibility of public procurement contractors applying for certificates confirming that there are no grounds for exclusion from the public procurement procedure and that the entity has the appropriate capabilities and resources. The draft on this matter, endorsed by the Ministry of Development and Technology, has already passed its first reading in the Sejm (it was referred to the Economic and Development Committee).

On Tuesday, the government adopted amendments to the act. They stipulate, among other things, that contractors who conduct business and have their registered office or place of residence in countries other than EU countries (including countries that are not parties to the World Trade Organization Agreement) will not be able to apply for certification.
