The final gala, which was the culmination of the Technical Innovation Olympiad in Mechanics and Environmental Protection, took place on May 22 at the Warsaw House of Technology NOT. This event attracts young people interested in the subject of innovation and acquiring practical skills related to making and submitting invention projects. Two such projects were submitted by students of ZSTiO in Jarosław. The first is the "Electric Mobility Assistant", an attachment with an electric drive, created for people using wheelchairs. The device helps move around in difficult terrain. What's more, it has a GSM module that informs caregivers about failures and obstacles. The authors of this idea are: Jakub Mazurkiewicz, Jakub Pyszniak and Dominik Dziedzic - students of automotive engineering and automation engineering. This project was implemented in cooperation between ZSTiO and CKZiU, under the watchful eye of supervisors (Stanisław Pietluch from CKZiU and Mariusz Skupnia from ZSTiO).
