They spontaneously defend the Polish border. The police used tear gas

– We also want to express support for our services, for the Border Guard, which is helpless, we want to show that Poland is here, that we cannot simply ignore us and throw in suspicious people whose goals and intentions are unknown – indicated one of the men.
The gathering was not reported, and it was mainly the residents of the Polish side of the island who took part in it, the Polish police also arrived. Most of the event took place in a peaceful mood, because it seemed that everyone had a common goal and intentions. Unfortunately, a shocking incident occurred. One of the recordings, which was made publicly available on Facebook, shows that the situation was tense and got out of control. It is difficult to say why the police officers, who were unable to control the crowd of men, tried to do so, because the men did not attack anyone, they simply moved around. In the recording, we see one of the police officers not withstanding the pressure and using a substance resembling gas on people. The recording is shocking, because the residents had gathered to defend the border, and instead there was an unpleasant clash with the Polish police. The spokesman for the Municipal Police Headquarters in Świnoujście did not answer our phone, so we are waiting for an explanation of the incident on Uznam island.

Flota Świnoujście fans, along with a group of several dozen residents, gathered today at the Świnoujście-Ahlbeck border crossing to protest against the night-time transfers of migrants from Germany to Poland.
Police were present at the scene. The demonstration was not peaceful. Police tried to disperse the protesters using tear gas. According to the local portal Wyspa24, the gathering was spontaneous and had not been officially reported in advance.
"Today, spontaneously, we are gathering to block the Polish-German border because of the notorious night-time transfer of immigrants by Germans, whom they do not want in their country, across our border, into our country. (...) If the situation repeats itself, we will block this border until everything returns to normal," wrote the fans of the Świnoujście club on social media.
